- The Heart of the Project or "The Main Event"
- The Buildup - Right before the Heart
- The Background - Long before the Event
- Short Term Impacts - What happened immediately after the event
- Long Term Impacts - "So What" or How is this event still impacting events today
The research guide above will provide questions to ask to help guide the research as well as offer help to brainstorm where to look for the information. I would suggest looking for secondary sources first to get an idea of the big picture and then finding primary sources to support your arguments. BUT Please note that this is a messy process.

This packet also has 2 ways to help organize the information. The first is using index cards and the second is a Cornell Note format. I do not require either BUT you will need to create an annotated bibliography AND you will need to organize your research in some way. Please work with me to ensure that you are recording your research appropriately.
