Battle of the Books

The AMS Battle of the Books was kicked off in October. Students who choose to participate are required to read at least three of the ten books selected and pass a short quiz on the books. 

Students are encouraged to work together with a team to read all ten books to prepare for battle in the Spring. Each student on the team is responsible for sharing details about their books with the other team members to ensure that all students know as much about the books as possible in preparation.

All battle questions will be answered with the title and author of a book so all titles and authors must be memorized as well.  

Following the Aynor Middle School Battle of the Books competition, the top twelve students at AMS will represent Aynor Middle at the Horry County Schools district competition.
