Project Summary:

Our goal as a team is to create a lathe that can operate from the power output coming from a person on a bike. Our project differs from others because the cyclist and the lathe user are separate people and we are prioritizing the safety of both. 

The human powered lathe is the final project for E177 - Mechanical Design taught by Professor Mendelson in the spring of 2023 at Harvey Mudd College.
