About Me

Hello! I'm Mr. Vazquez Rivera, the music teacher for Sunfield's 2022-2023 school year. I have been at Hays for the past 3 years and am so happy to continue my life-long journey of learning and teaching. I graduated from Texas State University with my Bachelors of Music Studies with a Choral Concentration. For this year, I am focused on making connections, bringing students into a space of musical freedom and acceptance, and building a community of musicking of all kinds!
