Guidance Lessons


Students receive counselor-led guidance lessons throughout the school year. The lesson topics are based on data collected from the campus needs assessment.

The purpose of the guidance curriculum is to provide lessons to students that facilitate growth and development in the areas of educational, career, personal, and social development.

Topics include

  • Social and Relationship Skills

  • Managing Feelings and Emotions

  • Friendships

  • Self-esteem (understanding and accepting self)

  • Character Education (Values and good citizenship).

  • Post-Secondary Education and Career Readiness.
