Hello Prospective Tiger Band students! 

Welcome to the McCormick Middle School Band Program! We are so excited about next school year and cannot wait for you to be a part of our band family! Being a part of band will open up many doors for you- you'll get to perform for the community, family members, friends, and get to travel and perform out of town!  Research studies have proven many times students who are involved in music, score higher academically than students who are not involved in music! You will also learn self-discipline, responsibility, and social skills that will benefit you in the future!

Instrument selections will give each of you an opportunity to try all of the instruments we will be teaching next school year. A band director will be guiding you in selecting an instrument that will best fit you. Even if you already know what you want to play, you'll still get a chance to check out all the instruments- you might find something  you really like!
