WELCOME TO LEHMAN HIGH SCHOOL

DR. ERIC WRIGHT

HAYS CISD SUPERINTENDENT

Greetings Lobo Nation!

On behalf of the Hays CISD Trustees, I would like to thank all of the constituents of Hays CISD for the continued support of our District. We are excited to be able to provide a well-rounded 21st Century learning experience for every student. We are blessed that you entrust your children to us and it is our great pleasure to serve you and them as we prepare each of our students with the education and skills to accomplish any desired lifetime goal. Extracurricular activities such as this help enhance the overall academic success for our students. Once again, we thank you for your support and your demonstration of excellent sportsmanship.

Go Lobos!

LHS Family,

Welcome to the Home of the Lobos – Lehman High School – where our young athletes maintain high standards on and off the field. They are expected to be excellent role models in our community and at school. We take pride in their hard work and accomplishments, and we know that our student athletes will compete to the best of their ability. Thank you to the administrative and athletic staffs at LHS. Our parents and community can be very proud of the standard of excellence established by our Athletic Coordinator and head football coach Bruce Salmon and his staff.

Due to unchartered times, #LHSPACKMentality is the only thing we know that remains consistent. We know that with a PACK mentality, TOGETHER we will thrive through perseverance and grit. Together we are stronger and our strength will contribute to our success. The strength of Lehman High School is each and every Lobo. The strength of each and every Lobo is Lehman High School. Together, through collaboration and support, we can do anything. Having a PACK mentality is our immediate connection between our school and our community.

A key element to any successful program is the support of its school and community fan base. LHS is blessed with a large number of parents, students, staff, and community members who will continue to fill our stands (even at our current capacity) in support of our teams. Lehman High School is a special place because we all choose to be part of it. We want to matter and we will matter as we continue to celebrate our love for LoboNation.

So “Lobos Up” fans, as we achieve excellence as one with integrity, wisdom, and pride.

 Proud, PROUD Principal,

Karen Zuniga

LANCE MOFFETT

HAYS CISD ATHLETIC DIRECTOR

Welcome to Hays CISD’s Bob Shelton Stadium, home of the Hawks, Lobos, and Jaguars. We welcome our visitors and hometown supporters alike to the 2022-2023 Athletics Campaign. We hope your time with us will be enjoyable and you will take a moment to recognize the student groups, facilities, communities, and teams that make high school athletics in Hays CISD and Texas such a great tradition.

We further hope you will enjoy our new and improving facilities and recognize the commitment of our Community, School Board, FBOC, Administration, and Boosters to provide the best facilities in the State for our athletes and participants.

Special Thanks to our Hays CISD School Board, for their support and commitment to our video scoreboard project. The video scoreboard has enhanced our ability to recognize all of our students and groups, teach a vibrant CTE curriculum on each high school campus to students interested in multi-media broadcasting, and highlight our Hays CISD and campus brands in a new, vibrant, and modern way, as well as generate revenue to enhance our athletic budget.

I would also like to personally thank all of our support groups – the band, cheerleaders, NJROTC, drill team, trainers, managers, faculty, staff, administration, student council, student body, parents, and, of course, the boosters - for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to their endeavors. They enable us to carry on a vibrant and healthy tradition of competition and inspiring excellence.

Hays CISD and our community have established a tradition and expectation of inspiring excellence unmatched, as displayed in all of our extracurricular programs. We look forward to continuing to grow and build on that expectation and tradition.

DUSTY GIBBS

HAYS CISD ASSISTANT ATHLETIC DIRECTOR

My name is Dusty Gibbs and I am starting my 16th year in education. I most recently worked in the Fredericksburg Independent School District as the Assistant to the Athletic Director and 1st Assistant Head Football Coach and Head Track Coach. I have also helped build a program and culture as a Head Football Coach and Boys Coordinator at Harper ISD where I was a finalist for Dave Campbell's Central Texas Coach of the Year in 2017. I have been married to my wonderful wife Renee for 15 years and we have two kids, Cannon (9) and Reese (6) who we are excited to join the Hays elementary system this upcoming school year!

I have been involved in athletics my entire life and the lessons I have learned have helped shape me into the person I am today. My mission is to help our coaches create an environment to build successful young people and shape them in a positive way in all areas of their lives. I truly believe the lessons learned by our student-athletes here at Hays CISD can help propel them into a bright future and positive memories that will last a lifetime! 100% Hays CISD!
