All students in grades 6-8 have been enrolled in a course through Edgenuity that will teach them the basics of how to be a successful independent learner in an online medium. It is recommended that students work through this course to prepare them for success during our home learning time due to Covid-19.
This course is not required but will give you and your child some beneficial strategies.
This course will take you and your child through some key strategies that can improve success in independent online learning. Have your child take notes and review with you the main points from each lesson.
Each student has been enrolled in the HCISD Learning Online at Home Course. This course teaches students the skills necessary to be successful in an online environment.
