MCJROTC September Highlights

Jack C. Hays MCJROTC Starts the Year with a Bang!

The Jack C. Hays MCJROTC started the year off with a bang, with both our Raider and Air Rifle teams continuing the success and winning tradition they established last season!

🥇 Raider Team

We kicked off the Raider season by hosting our first Raider Meet of the year, and the Hays Raiders wasted no time making their presence known.

The Male Raider Team placed 1st Overall, with outstanding finishes across the events:

• 🥇 1st Place – Cross Country Rescue

• 🥇 1st Place – Raider Fitness Challenge

• 🥇 1st Place – Rope Bridge

• 🥈 2nd Place – Sandbag Relay

• 🥉 3rd Place – Team Run

An outstanding performance and a great way to start the Raider season!

🎯 Air Rifle Team

The Hays Air Rifle Team joined in on the winning as well. Coming off a National Runner-Up season last year, the team opened the new season with a dominant performance at the NEISD Season Opener.

The Red Team captured 1st Place Overall by an impressive 100-point margin, while the Blue Team finished 4th Overall.

Hays also had three shooters finish among the top four individuals:

• 🥇 Adah Guerra – 1st Overall

• 🥈 Viviana Martinez – 2nd Overall

• William Garcia – 4th Overall

From the Raider course to the rifle range, Jack C. Hays MCJROTC is off to an incredible start!

Congratulations to all of our cadets and coaches. The hard work, discipline, teamwork, and dedication are already paying off.

Great way to start the season — and we’re just getting started!
