1:1 Technology
Barton is a 1:1 campus. That means that students can be assigned a District owned Chromebook if parents give permission. We strongly encourage all students to purchase the Technology Protection Plan if they borrow a District Device to protect you from having to pay for expensive repairs and total loss situations. It can only be purchased within the first 60 days from their enrollment, and costs from $10-$40 dollars depending on whether students qualify for free or reduced price lunch. See the Librarian if interested.
Logins
It takes about a day for the District system to create a login for students, and about two days to load their classes in Schoology.
To log into a Desktop computer or Classlink, students will use this login.
Username: their ID number
Password: their 8 digit birthdate (MMDDYYYY)
To sign into their Chromebook or into Chrome on a Desktop, their username will be their District Gmail address (formated as shown below).

The student's Google password is also the 8 digit birthdate (MMDDYYYY)
