Non-Harvard Visitors

If you are a non-Harvard visitor to this website and are interested in learning about Tiny Machine Learning (TinyML), you are welcome to take HarvardX Tiny Machine Learning (TinyML) course series. It will be launching in late Fall 2020. You can take it for free, or choose to earn a Professional Certificate on TinyML.

The edX "Professional Certificate" program is designed to build and enhance critical professional skills needed to succeed in today's most in-demand fields. Take the TinyML course series to stand out and succeed at work, or just have fun building intelligent tiny devices.

The online curriculum is designed to be highly accessible. We assume no background in machine learning or embedded systems. We expect that completing the course successfully will require about 60 to 70 hours.

TinyML Kit

Though edX is an online course, you'll still learn via hands-on experience building a real TinyML system.

TinyML inherently requires work with both hardware and software, a kit is available for purchase through Arduino with everything you’ll need to enable you to work on each of the course’s assignments, as well as the open-ended final project, at home. Details are available in the edX course website.

Give us Feedback!

Throughout the course, our staff will provide a number of opportunities to provide feedback. We hope you’ll take advantage of this opportunity to help us improve this experience not only for you as we try to make adjustments in “real time” (clearly with some phase lag), but also moving forward, for future offerings of this course.
