On March 26th, 2020, NAFOA, NCAI, NIHB, NCUIH, NAIHC, NIEA, NIGA, and NACA convened a Tribal Leader Town Hall on Indian Country's inclusion in Phase 3 legislation aimed at providing Coronavirus relief. The health, economic, and governance provisions in the latest relief package are discussed as well as the tribal organizations' legislative strategy going forward.
On March 17, 2020, NAFOA, NCAI (National Congress of American Indians), and NIHB (National Indian Health Board) convened a Tribal Leader Town Hall on the COVID-19 pandemic to engage on updates and policy implications. The town hall webinar discussed responses from the White House, public health agencies, and how our organizations are responding to the fight against COVID-19.
