Researching – Gather information about the competition theme and develop strategies to help the team succeed throughout the season.
Building – Make decisions about building and work to form a consensus on the mechanical design of the robot among team members.
Programming – Make decisions about programming and form a consensus on programming for the robot.
Driving - Commitment to practicing how to operate the robot within the competition field. This includes completing the VRC Drive Team certification.
Team Management – Get everyone focused and make sure all ideas are heard, find compromises, and keep everyone on schedule with a timeline.
Documentation – Record and document the entire team’s thoughts, actions, failures, and successes throughout the season in an engineering notebook. During the season, these records help the team organize information for decision making. Team notebooks are required at tournaments to showcase the team’s design process, activities, and teamwork.
