Membership Requirements

Team practices for the robotics program at Sweetwater Middle School are scheduled to take place after school every Monday through Thursday until 5:30 pm. To maintain active status as a team member, all students are required to attend a minimum of two practices per week. However, for those aspiring to compete during the robotics season, attendance at a minimum of three practices per week is mandatory to qualify for participation in competitions. Students are expected to come prepared to actively contribute to the team's objectives during each practice session. Additionally, there is a $150 fee for students selected to be part of the competition team, which covers all associated expenses including fees and shirts up to State competitions. This fee ensures equitable participation and support for the team's endeavors throughout the season.
