Orchestra Program

Program Information

*Participating in a Music Program is a wonderful opportunity and is open to all interested 6^th grade students. No prior musical experience is required!

*Students who join Orchestra get to make NEW FRIENDS and play FUN music!

*The instruments in the orchestra are: Violin, Viola, Cello, and Double Bass.

*Choosing Orchestra is a Yearlong Commitment and will replace one of your student’s regular, rotating Connections classes. These classes happen during the school day.

*Orchestra continues through 7^th and 8^th grade. Students taking all 3 years will have opportunities to further their experience at the high school level!

*There will be performance/fieldtrip opportunities throughout the year such as Honor Orchestra, Winter & Spring Concerts, Violapalooza, Caroling around the school, and so much more!

*Students joining Orchestra will receive information on instrument purchase/rentals. I will help you every step of the way and the process is easy!
