What is Simpson Singers?

Simpson Singers is available to any 5th grade student who enjoys singing and making music. We will explore music primarily through singing and movement-based activities to prepare for two concerts during the year as well as singing the National Anthem at local events.

The mission of Simpson Singers is to provide an extended opportunity for musical creativity, performance, and enjoyment in a vocal music setting.

Does it cost money?

There is no fee to join, but students will need to purchase a shirt to wear in performances. ($8.40)

Rehearsals

Wednesday mornings
from 7:45-8:40
starting on August 12th.

Parents must provide transportation to school by 7:45 for Simpson Singers.

Concerts

Saturday, August 29th: Simpson Singers at the Atlanta Braves, 4:10pm game start
Saturday, September 19th: National Anthem at Peachtree Corners Festival, 9:15-9:30am arrival, 10:00-10:15am performance
Norcross Cluster Choral Performance, Date TBD in November
Spring Performance, Thursday, April 1st, 6:30pm at Simpson
