Biology

Biology allows Archer High school’s nine-graders to adjust to the rigor of high school science. Students are asked to investigate and develop a fundamental understanding of the study of living organisms, including their physical structure, chemical processes, molecular interactions, physiological mechanisms, development, evolution, and ecological relationships. The course builds on content through two semesters to prepare students for the Milestone End of Course Test.

Scientific Research I & II

Science Research I and II are part of the Archer Accelerated Cohort. The Archer Accelerated Cohort students engage in challenging academic study across disciplines. They will explore complex problems and make intellectual connections across boundaries in an effort to solve problems. Students build on the knowledge they build as they develop the skills required to succeed in collaborative work, research, presenting, and writing collegiate level papers. They will face challenging expectations with the academic gold standard in curriculum.
