STEAM lessons covering grade-level AKS standards

Students participate in teacher-facilitated lessons that encourage exploration, problem solving, self-discovery, interaction, and experimentation. Students participate in weekly STEAM lessons, such as Cooking, that combine Math and Science standards.

STEAM lessons in the Autism classroom involve a “hands-on” learning approach. STEAM lessons in the Autism classroom are a great way of integrating various standards while learning real-world skills.
