QUALITY INSTRUMENTS MAKE QUALITY MUSIC!

It is so important to our students that they have access to quality instruments! There are so many music stores around us that offer great prices on rentals. Please see the information below regarding stores that frequently work with students in the orchestra program. This list is constantly being added to so check back often.

Please avoid buying instruments off the internet unless it is from a reputable music site. When using an instrument from a friend or family member, make sure to check for the following things:

1. Is this the correct instrument for my child? (Violins and Violas are different instruments and cannot be interchanged)

2. Is this the correct size for my child?

3. If it needs repairs, is it worth repairing to make it usable?

4. Does this come with all the items necessary (bow, case, etc) or is it just the instrument?

You can always bring in the instrument to your teacher and they can answer these questions if needed.
