Features both our distinctive symbol and brand name. This is our default logo for websites, official documents, signage, and main marketing assets.
Usage Rule: Always maintain minimum clear space around the logo (free of text and graphics) to ensure visual impact and legibility across print and digital screens.
File Types:
PNG: has a transparent background. Ideal for websites, digital displays, Google Docs, presentations, and social media graphics.
JPEG: best for digital viewing and web publication where smaller file sizes are needed, but it does not support transparent backgrounds.
EPS: best for professional high-resolution printing, large-format banners, promotional merchandise, uniforms, and external vendor requests. Scalable to any size without losing quality.
Contact discovery.deisgn@gcpsk12.org for additional file types or color variatons.
Our mascot logo represents our brand's character, spirit, and energy. Use the mascot logo in energetic or informal contexts where building community identity and school pride is the primary focus.
Primary Application: Athletic gear, merchandise, student media, event banners, and social media spirit graphics.
Usage Rule: Do not pair the mascot directly over official academic letterheads or formal legal documents; use our Primary Logo or Wordmark for those applications instead.
Our color palette defines the visual energy of Discovery High School. Consistent use of these official colors ensures immediate brand recognition across all digital and print mediums.
Color Specs: Always refer to the exact HEX, RGB, CMYK, and PANTONE values provided when creating graphics or printing physical merchandise to ensure color accuracy across different mediums and substrates.
Accessibility & Contrast: Maintain high contrast between text and background colors to ensure all digital and printed content meets legibility and accessibility standards.
Color Variations: Use full-color versions on white or light backgrounds, inverted white logos on dark backgrounds, and single-color black options for grayscale printing.
Reserved exclusively for high-impact titles, main headers, and key branding assets to create immediate visual recognition.
Font Styles Tips:
Bold: Used strategically for main headings, section titles, and key callouts to establish visual hierarchy.
Regular: The standard weight for all body text, bullet points, and general copy.
Italic: Reserved for soft emphasis, captions, quotes, and specialized metadata.
Our Academy logos represent the specialized learning communities within Discovery High School. Use these sub-brand logos on materials, signage, and communications specific to individual academy programs to highlight specialized pathways while maintaining unified school alignment.
Primary Application: Pathway course materials, academy event promotions, student presentations, specialized apparel, and department-specific web pages.
Usage Rule: Do not modify or separate the internal academy graphics from the official emblem outline. Always maintain equal clear space around the logo to preserve legibility and visual weight alongside the main school branding.
