The D3 Labs is a combination of three different creation spaces across the 2nd floor of I-pod in Peachtree Ridge High School. Each space specializes in a particular form of creation:
The D3 3D Lab (i205): A Collection of 32 Desktops with dedicated hardware for running CAD and 3D modeling software, as well as 16+ 3D printers to bring your models to life!
The D3 Fabrication Lab (i207): A fully stocked machine shop capable of cutting, shaping, and joining a variety of wood, plastics, and even some metals. Includes a CNC Router.
The D3 Manufacturing Lab (i210): In the back of the room behind our school's print shop (Ridge Prints), we have additional higher-fidelity 3D printers capable of printing in more exotic plastics at higher resolution, a Mayku vacuformer, as well as an 80 Watt CO2 Laser Engraver and Cutter.
