Dear Black Knight Students and Families,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! I hope you all had a restful, fun, and rejuvenating summer. Whether you are a returning family or joining our Black Knight community for the very first time, we are thrilled to welcome you to Central Gwinnett High School.

Our administrators, teachers, and staff have been working tirelessly all summer to prepare our classrooms, finalize schedules, and design engaging learning opportunities. We are fully committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where every student can achieve academic excellence, pursue their passions, and build meaningful connections.

As we kick off this new school year, here are a few key priorities and reminders to keep in mind:

• Academic Growth & Success: Our dedicated faculty is ready to challenge and support our students across all academic pathways, including our advanced courses and career-focused programs. We encourage every student to set high goals for themselves this year.

• Get Involved: High school is about more than just academics—it’s about community. Encourage your student to join a club, participate in athletics, or engage in our arts programs. Staying active in school life creates unforgettable experiences.

• Open Communication: Strong partnerships between home and school make a huge difference in student success. Please ensure your contact information is updated in ParentVUE so you receive key announcements, newsletters, and progress updates.
