I am excited to have your child in my class this school year. This year in social studies we will be learning about Eastern Hemisphere geography, history, economics, culture, and current events. I graduated from Indiana University East in 2012. I am married to my wonderful wife Wendi. I have two children (Bella and Noah) and three step children (Cameron, Jenna, and Kylie). I was born and raised here in Connersville. I graduated from CHS in 2008 and went to Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, IN. After graduating from IWU, I substituted around the area and eventually got my first teaching job at a high school in Fort Wayne in 2014. I’m thrilled that I have returned to the area and am teaching at CMS! My main hobbies are crafting, such as crocheting and knitting, as well as traveling any chance I can get. I’m also a major science nerd when it comes to anything related to Astronomy or Astrophysics. I’m incredibly excited for this school year, so please do not hesitate to contact me if you need anything! 

Hello! I am a Delaware county native. I graduated from Ball State in 1988 and 1993 with degrees in Early Childhood Education and Elementary/ Secondary Science.  I spent 28 years teaching Science in Muncie, 5 years teaching Science in Richmond Schools. I am beginning year 34 here in Fayette County. I live in Wayne county with my husband and 3 horses and 2 dogs.  My kids are grown and on their own… I am really excited to be here and please feel free to reach out any time. 

I am excited to be part of the CMS family, I am the mild intervention teacher.  I graduated from Indiana State University in 2007, and have been with FCSC for 10 years.  In the past, I have coached basketball, tennis, and football at 4 different schools.  I have a wonderful wife, Julia, who teaches at Grandview Elementary.  We have two amazing children (Addison and Hudson).  My hobbies include: hiking, biking, fishing, golfing, traveling, playing tennis and basketball, and watching all kinds of sports.  I am currently the CMS Coed Tennis Coach and Girl's Varsity Tennis Coach.  If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me. 

My name is Katherine Swininger, and I am a 22-year veteran teacher and instructional coach. I graduated from Franklin College in 2002 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Kindergarten Endorsement, and from Ball State University in 2020 with a Master’s Degree in Education Administration and Leadership. My husband, Ryan, and I have 3 children, Luke, Izzy, and Riley.  We live on a small farm in Springersville where we raise goats and cattle.  I love to SCUBA dive, ride horses, cook, and read!
