WOODLAND JUNIOR HIGH
CAREER ACTION PLANNING (CAP)
WHAT IS CAP?
CAP stands for Career Action Planning. The purpose of the CAP process is to assist students and parents in planning for the future.
To best prepare for college and a career, students should carefully consider their goals and choose courses thoughtfully, which will help them achieve their goals. The CAP process ensures that parents are involved in the course selection and post-high school planning process.
Our goal is to work in partnership with parents and students to prepare students for their future. Please feel free to contact your child's school with questions or concerns about the CAP process, policies or procedures, or any of our programs.
See presentations below to learn more about the CAP process!
Principal David McClure hosted a Pre-CAP Parent Information Zoom meeting for Rising 7th and 8th Grade parents/guardians and students on Thursday, March 4th. If you missed the event, see the presentations below to view the information presented.
