Students are able to download the following software for free.
Faculty and staff are working hard to move all physical courses to an online platform. Additional information will be forthcoming.
Faculty and staff are working hard to move all physical courses to an online platform. It will be up to the discretion of the specific faculty member for reaching out to you, the students, to instruct you all how to resume your courses. We recommend that you check Cavas and your student email account daily for updates and announcements.
Skylab is ESU's online virtual computer lab. Skylab provides access to Microsoft Office, SPSS, SAS, and other software applications. It also specialized software that could be course specific. In these cases, your professor should provide more information to you.

If you need immediate assistance, contacting the Help Desk through an email or phone call will be the most efficient way of communication.

Zoom and Google Meet are two services that we recommend to students who need to virtually 'meet up' to complete school work.
To work on documents collaboratively, please make use of Microsoft OneDrive or Google Drive.
We are assuming that SkyPrint will not be available in the following week(s). If your professor requires a hard/digital copy of any work, please print it as a PDF. Most print options allow the option of printing as a PDF.
Most software and services require high-speed Internet access. If you don't have Internet access, check with local ISP's (Internet Service Providers) for any promotions or deals that they may be offering. Avoid any long-term contracts, but most have short-term or month-to-month options that could be a great convenience until we return to face-to-face learning. We've compiled a list of ISP's and deals they are presently offering on our Suggested Equipment site.
Another option is to check out your local library. They may have free Internet access or publicly-accessible computer for use or checkout. Just remember to follow CDC Guidance on keeping yourself safe, especially in public spaces.
If you need a computer or specialized software/equipment for your classes, check with your instructor. IT will work with faculty to assist with emergency resources in any way possible.
