ABOUT
A new Idaho cohort begins each August, which is the fall semester.
Application materials are reviewed upon their receipt, and students are notified of their acceptance status as soon as decisions are made. The earlier all application materials are received, the earlier a decision can be made.
SLIM Idaho students are admitted as a group (cohort).
Most classes are taught during two intensive weekends with online work spanning the entire semester.
There is one weekend intensive location in Idaho: Boise.
Hours for classes are Fridays from 6-9 pm and Saturdays from 9:15 am – 5 pm.
SLIM Idaho students graduate with a Master of Library Science from Emporia State University. Emporia State University, located in Emporia, Kansas, is accredited by the American Library Association (ALA).
