When I teach, I like to teach in an inclusive and empathetic environment. I feel that being kind, implementing social-emotional skills, and demonstrating active listening in the classroom will solve many problems instantaneously and provide lifelong skills. When I can teach students to be empathetic, their view of others and themselves will forever be changed. I also believe in the idea that every student learns differently and their learning style should be celebrated. This is also applicable to the idea that there are different intelligences. This will help with how I teach and how I adjust my curriculum.Â
