Go to Hornet 365 Student
Click ResLife Portal in the list of icons (you may need to scroll down a bit)
Log in with your ESU username and password
Click Apply Here! on the top menu bar
Click to either Apply or Continue the Summer 2026 application

To be eligible for summer housing on campus, students must meet all of the following requirements:
Enrollment in Spring 2026 and Fall 2026 classes at ESU
Resident on campus for the Spring 2026 semester
Uphold policies of Emporia State University and ESU Residential Life
OR
In good conduct standing at the time of application and residency
Students not meeting this eligibility requirement may request an exception by contacting Residential Life at reslife@emporia.edu.

Summer housing may begin as early as Saturday, May 16th at noon.
The last day summer housing will be available will be Saturday, August 8th at noon.

Students are responsible for providing their own meals. We plan for community kitchens, including ovens, to open 24/7. There is no summer housing meal plan.
Dining services will be limited throughout the summer. When on-campus dining services are available, it will require out-of-pocket payment.

Mail pick up will be in the Residential Life Main Office in Abigail Morse Hall Monday thru Friday, 8am to noon, 1pm to 5pm. There will be no mail pick up on weekends or when the university is closed.

The Abigail Morse Laundry room will be available 24/7 unless otherwise posted.

Staffing Available
We employ a great group of student workers during the summer that will also live on campus in each of our residence halls. The position (Summer Assistant) is focused assisting with camps/groups who stay on campus, prepping for the start of the fall semester, and being a part of the summer resident community. We will also have our full-time Professional Staff, custodial staff, and maintenance team members available.
