We sent 2 students to perform a Long Term Mobility in Trenčín. They attended the lessons according to their individual learning programs.
Meanwhile, they must be on the loop of their lessons in Spain, keeping in touch with their teachers through Meet and Classroom.
Apart from the daily lessons they had the chance to get involved in leisure activities and winter sports as well as travelling through the country with their host families and partners.
It´s really big and diferent from our school. Since the first day, we connected with the teachers and students, although the people are a little difrent, but we got used to it quickly. We had english, spanish, P.E, computers, french, history and art. It was interesting to see how the classes work. We also ate at the school, that is a thing that we are not used to, but we liked it.
The experience with our families has been different for each of us. But in general everything has gone very well. We've got along great with them, and they've helped and attended to us in every way we needed.
We both think that the relationship we have with our host families is going to be a relationship forever and another home to go if we need.
In our free time, we did a lot of diferent things. We studied, we went out for walks, we spent time with our family, with our friends... In this experience, you need to know how to organise yourself and how to be productive. We spent a lot of time with our families, and it was amazing to meet and to create a relationship with them. Also we made some friends that we will always remember.
Our city is situated in the northwesterm of Slovakia. The population of Trenčín is around 54.000 habitants. It is located the valley of the Váh River. It´s a little city but with a lot of things to do. We felt amazing and really welcomed .
When we first arrived here, we didn't know what to expect. We had a good feeling, but we didn't know what we were up against. We later realized that this experience has made us evolve and taught us a lot about ourselves and how we can overcome many things, that before we never imagine that we coud. We recommend this experience to everyone. Considering that we had good things and bad ones, the whole experience has been worth it.
It is a learning that will stay with us forever.
