The Spanish students will also occasionally visit some of the classes their Italian counterparts attend. Most of the Spanish students live together with Italian students in their homes.
Italian and Spanish pupils will work together in groups to meet the final outcomes of the mobility.
Following the programme of our week visit to Liceo Virgilio Redi, in Lecce, Italy, we are mainly going to meet pupils and their families, teachers, see lessons and project development as well as participate in workshops and meetings.
Finally, this mobility will conclude by doing a presentation and recording some videos and a podcast regarding the waste disposal, management and recycling in both cities (Lecce and Córdoba).
Lecce is a city in southern Italy and former capital of the province of Lecce, with the second-highest population in the Apulia region. It is on the Salentine Peninsula, at the heel of the Italian Peninsula, and is over two thousand years old.
Because of its rich Baroque architecture, Lecce is nicknamed "The Florence of the South". "Lecce stone"—a particular kind of limestone—is one of the city's main exports, because it is very soft and workable, and thus suitable for sculptures. Lecce is also an important agricultural centre, chiefly for its olive oil and wine production, as well as an industrial centre specializing in ceramics.
Lecce is home to the University of Salento.
ARRIVAL: Spanish students and teachers were welcomed at Bari airport on Thursday, 4th of April 2024. They were received in Lecce by the Italian students and families, as well as Erasmus teachers.

They showed us their high school, it was beautiful and there was a big central patio full of trees and flowers. The facilites were very clean and it was all very well organized. The teachers and students were so nice and cheerful.
