Educational activities of autonomous driving

As part of the creative manufacturing project for third- and fourth-year undergraduate students and first-year master's students, we are conducting educational activities related to autonomous driving. The objective of this project is to deepen the understanding of automated driving as a whole through the development of various elemental technologies necessary for automated driving, using autonomous golf cart. These activities are supported by the General Insurance Association of Japan.

Educational activities of traffic safety systems

We are conducting educational activities on traffic safety systems through student-led projects targeting the Student Safety Technology Design Competition organized by the Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan. In FY2019, a total of six students participated in two teams as part of an exercise for graduate students, and in FY2020, the project will be conducted as part of "Creative Engineering Project" for third-year undergraduate students and first-year master's students. These activities are supported by the General Insurance Association of Japan.
