High-Q-Resolution spectrometer HQR

T1-1 beamline in JRR-3

Welcome

This HP introduces the High-Q-Resolution neutron spectrometer HQR installed at T1-1 beamline of JRR-3 (beam hall).

For operating the spectrometer, the owner the Institute for Solid State Physics (ISSP), the University of Tokyo collaborates with the Frontier Research Center for Applied Atomic Sciences, Ibaraki University.

The HQR spectrometer is open for the general user program of neutron scattering managed by ISSP, the University of Tokyo. The spectrometer is also applied for the practical  training of neutron spectroscopy in the courses of Graduate School of  Science and Engineering, Faculty of Science, and Faculty of Engineering, Ibaraki University.
