当研究室を志望する皆様へ

  当研究室は基礎から医療応用まで幅広く研究をおこなうために、基本的にはチームとして研究を進めています。また、他の研究室や、臨床医の先生方との共同研究も多く行っています。多くの人たちとの協同研究を円滑に進めるべく、当研究室では学生さんに以下のようなお願いをしています。

• 第一に人柄を重視しています。協調性がない、約束を守れない、他の人とうまくやれないなどの方はお断りします。

• 研究成果を論文や学会で発表することを推奨し、サポートします。正確かつわかりやすく他者に伝える技術は社会に出てからも役に立ちますので、身につけるよう心がけて下さい。

• 研究室には毎日早く来て、早く帰るよう心がけて下さい。特別な理由がない限りは、通常は10時頃までには来て18時頃までには帰るようにして、コンスタントかつ計画的に実験を行って下さい。

当研究室を志望している方は、研究室の雰囲気を知って頂きたいので、アポイントメントをとって是非研究室を見学にいらしてください。学部生は東京大学工学部マテリアル工学科から、大学院生は東京大学大学院工学系研究科バイオエンジニアリング専攻から配属されます。詳細は、各専攻のHPよりご確認下さい。

Our members engage in various research topics from fundamental studies to medical applications. We are also frequently involved in collaborative research with other laboratories and medical doctors. To continue with these and future collaborative research projects, we expect the following behavior from our students:

• Be a good person. Our students must be cooperative and able to work with others in a team. We do not accept students with a self-centered attitude.

• We encourage and support the presentation of research results in papers and conferences. Our students must acquire the technique to communicate with others accurately and clearly.

• In principle, we expect students to be in the lab by 10am and to leave by 6pm.

We would like prospective members to get a feel of the atmosphere in our group. Please make an appointment to visit. Undergraduate students can join us from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, School of Engineering, The University of Tokyo. Graduate students (Master, Ph.D.) can join us from the Department of Bioengineering, Graduate School of Engineering, The University of Tokyo. *We only accept those students who can fund themselves with fellowships such as JSPS, MEXT and so on.
