Talk format (Tentative)
The length of each talk is 50 minutes + 10 minutes for questions. Please finish in 50 minutes so that we have time for questions (unless you have many questions in the middle).
The audience is VERY diverse with many students, so please prepare accordingly. In general, people tend to talk too technical materials; this probably not too instructive for many in the audience, I believe.
The first half should be pedagogical and the audience will be strongly encouraged to ask questions, even elementary ones.
The second half can be technical and about your research.
I expect there will be a white board but I am not completely certain how good it is. I will bring a projector.
