A research project conducted by the Japanese team of the 'Future of Work' working group under the Global Partnership on AI (GPAI).
During the GPAI 1.0 phase (2021–2024), the Ema Laboratory served as the secretariat as part of Ema’s role as an expert member of the working group on the Future of Work, GPAI. Since the transition to GPAI 2.0 under the OECD (from 2025), the secretariat function has been assumed by the Centre of the GPAI Expert Community at the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT) as part of the Student Communities Project.
The Ema Laboratory will continue to be involved in GPAI as a participating research laboratory.
