Program Goals

Build capacity around the use of technology for learning.

• Phase 2: A PD needs assessment will be created and administered, and PD will be responsive to results.

• Technology Teacher Leaders will provide at least 40 hours of coaching for teachers annually in Phase 2-3

Build capacity of teachers to provide instructional coaching to peers

• Phase 2: Instructional coaches will provide at least 40 hours of coaching annually in Phase 2-3.

• Technology Teacher Leaders will participate in PLC with the Tech Department, Superintendent, Grant Coordinator and District CIO monthly.

Improve student achievement in core subjects through the use of educational technology and 21st Century Skills

• Phase 2: All 1:1 teachers will use Google Classroom with students.

• By June of 2020, students of Phase II teachers will score 5% higher on standardized or district ELA assessments than their same-grade peers in classes taught by non-participating teachers.

• By June of 2021, the achievement gap in ELA assessments between disadvantaged and non-disadvantaged students will close by at least 3 percentage points.

Develop STEM Curriculum K-8 and STEM related pathways 6-8

• Phase 2: Implement Stem Curriculum K-8 with support from instructional coaches in 32 classrooms.

Empower parents to become involved through the use of technology

• Phase 2: Parents will use the new communication tools, enhancing school-home communication
