Ingestre Hall is a historic building and is not uniformly accessible, although efforts have been made to improve its accessibility. If you have an accessibility question that isn't covered below, please reach out to the event steward (midsummercoronation.steward@gmail.com).
Step-free access and vehicle drop-off is available at the north door. The main (south) entrance is stepped, with no bannisters.
Exterior paths are gravel.
Ingestre Hall has interior ramps throughout, although it should be noted that the ramp down to the kitchen is quite steep.
The ground floor has an accessible bathroom and shower.
Corridors throughout the centre are wide, and doorways are a minimum of 76cm wide.
Lower ground floor, ground floor, and accessibe accommodation on the mezzanine floor are accessible via a platform lift.
Evacuation chairs and hoist on site.
Unfortunately there is no Blue Badge parking available. Most parking is on the grass on the grounds in front of the building, although there are about a dozen parking spaces to the side of the Hall. For drivers with limited mobility, it may be possible to park by the north door - please get in touch (midsummercoronation.steward@gmail.com).
The accommodation for the event is on the upper floors at Ingestre Hall itself. Rooms come in a variety of sizes from dorm rooms, to rooms which are smaller and have en-suite facilities. There are a small number of beds in rooms that are accessible via lift. One of the accessible rooms has an ensuite wet room and an electric adjustable bed.
These rooms will be allocated to people who declare access requirements when booking.
