Task Rotation
Four-Style
Four-Style
Teachers use the Task Rotation strategy when they want to provide students with opportunities to interact with content in ways that honor varying learning styles. A Task Rotation lesson consists of four tasks for students to complete. If appropriate, the teacher may also allow students to choose any number of the tasks presented.
Not only is it beneficial to provide students with choice when completing tasks, but providing tasks that speak to different learning styles also enables students to interact with content from different perspectives and using different types of thinking. Task Rotation also provides a diverse opportunity for motivation among students as they are likely to find at least one of the tasks more engaging than the others.
Technology use for Task Rotation is entirely dependent on the tasks you choose to assign your students.
