Keli started dancing at age three in Irving, TX and continued studio dancing most of her childhood. She attended Colleyville Heritage High School where she was a member of the Premier Panteras Drill Team and served as their Historian her senior year. She then traveled to Denton, Texas to begin her college education as a dance Major. While there, she was able to participate in many performances as a performer and choreographer. Keli was awarded a Bachelor's Degree of Dance in May of 2007.  After gradation, she taught for three years in dance studios and young childcare. This will be her 15th year teaching Dance at RHS, and her 11th year as Director of the Strutters. She was the Assistant Director for the Strutters her first four years at Ryan.  Keli looks forward to a long career dancing, choreographing and teaching. 


Emily Schaefer

Emily Schaefer is from a very small town in Kansas that is only 450 people in size. She did studio dance from age 11 to 18 and was a cheerleader all through middle school and high school. She went to college at Cottey College and received an Associate of Fine Arts degree in Dance and an Associate of Science degree. She then went to Missouri Valley College and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance. Finally, she attended Texas Woman's University and received a Master of Arts degree in Dance and the post-baccalaureate teaching certification. She has taught dance for the past ten years to ages three to 90 and, most recently, ran an afterschool program and was an adjunct professor at Cottey and Missouri Valley College. This is her 3rd year teaching at Ryan High School and her 3rd year as the Assistant Director of Strutters.
