Hello Cheek Chargers and families! My name is Ms. Emma Duncan and I am the EXPO Specialist here at Cheek Middle School. I am so excited to be your teacher and have been anticipating your arrival all summer. This year we are going to grow together, learn a lot, and have some fun along the way.

Now, a little bit about me. I was raised in the DFW area and moved to Denton in 2020 to attend Texas Woman's University. At TWU, I studied English with a minor in Secondary Education. I currently live in Denton with my boyfriend, Sam and my two cats Stormie and Nova. I am an avid reader of all genres, a lover of yoga, and a novice crafter and DIY-er. I also enjoy upcycling and thrift shopping. Most of the items in my classroom are second-hand. It has always been my dream to become a teacher and I am so excited to begin this year with you! I just know we are going to have a great year.
