What is a School Counselor?

I am a certified/licensed educator who helps improve student success for all students by implementing a data-informed school counseling program. My program consists of the following supports to students:

• Setting academic goals

• Developing social and emotional skills through classroom lessons

• Checking in about emotions, challenges, or concerns

• Addressing school-related issues (e.g., attendance, test anxiety, behavior, peer conflict)

• Short-term individual or group sessions (with parental consent)

Please note that the services I provide are not therapy. I do not provide psychological diagnosis, evaluation or treatment.
