Hello and welcome! My name is Gabrielle Smith, and I am your child’s school counselor. I recently moved from North Carolina with my husband (Akeem) and 13-year-old Yorkie (Milo), so I'm new to the big old state of Texas! I have 6 years of experience as a school counselor, and I received my Bachelor’s Degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2011 and my Master’s Degree from North Carolina State University in 2018.

When I'm not at work, I love to spend time with my family, read, watch the latest movies and TV series, and explore all that Texas has to offer. I also love spending time at the beach, which is one of the biggest things I miss about NC. 

I’m passionate about supporting students with all of their emotional and social needs. I look forward to partnering with you this school year to ensure your child has a successful year!
