Arrival:

• • 7:10 am -- Students allowed to enter building and go to cafeteria or gym

  • 7:25 am -- First bell rings and students may walk to class

  • 7:40 am-- tardy bell

• • *Add: reusable water bottle (filled and cleaned each afternoon at home) every day

Dismissal:

• • 3:00 pm -- If you have any dismissal changes, please contact the front office and let them know. Dismissal changes will not be made through classroom teachers during the day.
    
    

First Grade Information: 

• Water Bottles:  Students need a water bottle in class daily.

• Snack:  We have snack time each afternoon.  Please send an easily accessible snack with your student daily.  I will always take donations of pre-packaged snacks for students that do not have a snack.

• Lunch:  Our lunch time is at 10:45-11:15.  Parents/loved ones are welcome to join their student for lunch in the cafeteria.  You must sign-in to the front office and then wait for your student outside the cafeteria.  The tables at the front of the cafeteria are for parents and their students to sit at.

• Restroom:  We have a restroom in the classroom and students are able to access the restroom at anytime during the day.  It’s always a good idea to keep a clean change of clothes in backpacks in case of an emergency.

• Birthday Celebrations:  You are welcome to send birthday treats for your students birthday if interested.  Store bought items are always best and it is very much appreciated if you let me know ahead of time.

• Homework Bags:  Each night your student will be bringing home their book bag.  Please do your best to read each night with your child from the books in the book bag and complete one homework assignment from their Homework Folder.

I will communicate most things with families via this class website, emails, and ClassDojo. Please be sure to connect to our class with the link below so you are up to date each day on your students behavior, cool things happening in class, and class announcements/reminders.
