All About Ms. Irma

My name is Irma Almaguer and I am going to be the Pre-K Assistant! 

This will be my third year at Blanton, and I am extremely excited to be here! Working with kids has always been a passion of mine and I am thrilled about this opportunity. This is going to be an exciting new academic year that I am sure is going to be full of surprises, adventures, and experiences. 

I was born in Monterrey, Mexico and I moved to Texas in 2003. I attend the North Lake Community College Early Childhood Education program, and I am currently working on my teaching degree. I live in Denton with my husband Milton and my two daughters Lilly & Ana, who bring me lots of joy every day. 

My personal motto is: Every child in my class is someone’s whole world! I hope you feel comfortable and loved during your time in my classroom. I hope you look forward to every day with excitement and enthusiasm.
