All About Mrs. Saiz

Hello!  My name is Lori Saiz. I am from Mesquite, but moved to the Denton area when I met my husband, Charley, in 2013. We got married in 2014 and had our twin boys, Colton & Elliot, in 2016.  We completed our family in 2023 with the arrival of our baby girl, Charlee. 

I graduated from Tarleton State University in 2008 with a degree in Accounting.  I worked in Accounting for 13 years, before deciding to pursue my dream of going into Education. This will be my fifth year with Denton ISD.   I spent one year working in an Early Childhood Special Education classroom, while I completed my alternative certification program and this is my fourth year as a Pre-K teacher.

My husband also works for the district and is a teacher and coach at Harpool Middle School.  Both of our boys have been a part of Denton ISD since they were in Pre-K and they will be in third grade this year.   

As a teacher and a parent I know the importance of communication, so please feel free to reach out to me anytime!  I am so excited about this school year and I cannot wait to meet all of my students!
