In the glittering culinary world, Gary P, a wannabe famous chef with a colossal ego, takes center stage. His flair for self-promotion and larger-than-life personality overshadows the real talent in his kitchen – his under appreciated assistant, Jack.

Gary P's dream of becoming a culinary celebrity is within reach as he prepares to unveil his secret signature recipe on a live cooking show. However, a mysterious figure known as "The Recipe Robber" is on the loose, threatening to sabotage Gary P's shot at stardom by stealing his prized culinary creations.

Marcus Finch, who had recently a failed documentary about the poverty and violence in his hometown of Dallas. Only a small group of people showed up for the original screening, nobody purchased his film. While searching for inspiration on an obscure blogging website, he finds an individual’s page which piques his interest. An agoraphobic with an obsession with classic cinema and film, Leonard Ulewicz receives a message from Marcus inquiring about his page. Over the course of a month or so, the two regularly message one another, Marcus eventually proposing that he visit with the intent of filming a documentary about Leonard’s lifestyle and condition.
