First club meeting will be Tuesday, September 17.
The Harpool middle school Spanish club’s mission is to promote multiculturalism in our school community by creating opportunities for the students to explore the culture, traditions, social practices, celebrations, and life values of Hispanic countries from Central, South America and Spain, in Europe. Spanish Club members will enjoy experiencing and learning about the authentic music, dances, food, art and crafts. As well as, creating pieces or art that are representative of Hispanic countries.

DECEMBER
Students in the Spanish Club made designs with their Marshmallow Rice Krispies. It was a fun after school time to laugh, get creative and have a delicious treat.
DECEMBER
The Mexican "Piñata" display was finished right before the Winter break. The students did a great job. I want to give a Special recognition to Regina and Zoe who came to my classroom every day for three weeks during enrichment to complete this project.
NOVEMBER
Students in the Spanish Club celebrated "The Day of the Dead". They remembered their loved ones who passed and shared fun and loving stories about them. Mrs. Ogal joined in the celebration.

SEPTEMBER
First club meeting was fun!! We did some icebreaking games, we shared a snack, played a game, and worked on coloring the banner of the display for the National Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration.
