Hello Orchestras!  Please find your summer skill builders below.  These can be really useful in preparing for the school year, and keeping your fingers moving!  If you don't have a way to practice these this summer, don't worry ...we will spend some time getting back into shape in the first few weeks of school. 

They are split into etudes for Philharmonic/Scherzo OR Cadenza/Intermezzo. (Rhapsody, see below for a link to the All State etudes...don't sleep on those!

Firstly, you should be preparing the All State Etudes, linked HERE.

Secondly, make use of this time to focus on scales and detailed technique refinement so you'll be in tip top shape for the year.  Careful scale practice can set you up for better overall intonation accuracy, dexterity, and speed!
