In accordance with state guidelines on remote learning, students are required to engage each day in one of the following ways: interacting with the teacher, engaging in independent work in the learning platform, and/or turning in assignments.
In middle school and high school, students are assigned a typical schedule of classes which is 8 for most students. (As a reminder, all freshmen and sophomores are required to enroll in 8 courses. Provided they meet the following criteria, juniors may reduce this requirement to 7 courses, and seniors to 6 courses.)
On days when synchronous learning is planned or when a student otherwise meets with the teacher, the teacher/student will follow the campus bell schedule.
At the start of each course, the teacher will provide the student with a syllabus that gives a general idea of how often the class will meet synchronously and when summative assessments are likely to be scheduled.
