DHS Choir Stole Requirements

The Choir Director has the final say as to who receives a choir graduation stole. Excellence in leadership and attitude are required in order to be honored with the DHS Choir Stole. Overall behavior, attendance, and discipline, academic achievement, within the school will factor into your being Awarded Stoles. A total of 200 or more points must be earned.

• Chorale Member, 15 points per year

• Encore Member, 5 points per semester

• Vocal Ensemble Member, 5 points per semester

• Voice Lessons, 10 points per semester

• Choir Officer, 10 points per year

• Auditioned for TMEA All-State - phase 1, 10 points per year

• Auditioned for TMEA All-State - region, 10 points per year

• Auditioned for TMEA All-State - pre area, 10 points per year

• Auditioned for TMEA All-State - area, 10 points per year

• Selected as a TMEA All-State member, 10 points per year

• Auditioned for North Texas 9/10 Honor Choir, 10 points per year

• Selected as a North Texas 9/10 Honor Choir member, 10 points per year

• Participated in Solo & Ensemble - SOLO, 5 points per year

• Participated in Solo & Ensemble - ENSEMBLE, 5 points per year
